Explore Armenia with the Visitor Visa that best suits your travel needs!

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has recently introduced the Visitor e-Visa for citizens of over 30 countries.

The e-Visa system is an online method of applying for visas from anywhere in the world. Some advantages of this system for travelers are that visa applications can be sent and paid for online at any time, anywhere.

Whether you're visiting Armenia for tourism or business, it's essential to check the Armenia visa requirements before you pack your bags. Luckily, iVisa is here to give you the most up-to-date information for your upcoming trip and help you get your Armenia visa without hassle.

What is the Armenia Visitor Visa?

The Armenia Visitor e-Visa is a single entry visa that allows travelers to enter the country for tourism or business purposes.

With this visa you can stay in Armenia for 21 days Per Entry or 120 days Per Entry.

The Armenia e-Visa is only available for travelers whose point of entry into Armenia is one of the following border crossing checkpoints: Ayrum railway station, Bavra, Bagratashen, Gogavan land borders with the Republic of Georgia, Zvartnots International Airport, and the Meghri land border with Iran.

How long is an Armenia e-Visa valid for?

The Armenia Visa has a validity of 90 days (Short Term Visa) or 180 days (Long Term Visa). Its expiration date will be specified in your e-Visa once it’s issued.

  • 90 days single entry tourist visa (Short Term Visa): although your entry to Armenia can be at any time of the 90 days of validity, your total stay can not exceed 21 days.

  • 80 days single entry tourist visa (Long Term Visa): although your entry to Armenia can be at any time of the 180 days of validity, your total stay can not exceed 120 days.

How to apply for the Armenia e-Visa?

The Armenia e-Visa application process is very simple and 100% online. Once the application is submitted and accepted, the applicant will receive a landing authorization that must be shown to an immigration officer upon arrival. Yes, it’s that simple.

To apply with iVisa just follow these simple steps:

  • First, read all the information and fill out your details in the Armenia Visa application form. Then, choose the processing time that best suits your needs.

  • Second, double-check and verify the information you provided in the form, and then pay the iVisa processing fee (see below on the Calculator Tool for more information on service fees).

  • Third, attach any documents required and click on the submit button to apply for your Armenia Visitors Visa.

Once the online application is submitted and accepted, a confirmation of your Armenia eVisa document will be sent per email. The eVisa will also be electronically linked to the applicant's passport.

The Immigration Officer at the port of entry may refuse entry to anyone who they consider is unable to fulfill the immigration requirements or that their presence in Armenia would be contrary to national interests or security.
