AUSTRALIA IS OPEN: Australia is open for tourism since February 21st, 2022.

The Australia e-Visitor Visa is an electronic travel visa suitable for travelers to Australia on short-term tourist or business visits. It is electronically linked to your passport.

In addition to the eVisitor Visa, you have the option to obtain the COVID-19 Travel Request when you apply with iVisa.com. This is a required travel document for those wishing to enter Australia during the coronavirus pandemic.

Apply now.

The Australian eVisitor is available to citizens of over 50 countries. The following travelers can enter Australia from 21 February 2022:

  • All fully vaccinated visa holders (including tourists) will be able to travel to Australia without needing to apply for a travel exemption.
  • Unvaccinated visa holders will still need a valid travel exemption to enter Australia.

You’ll need to fill out some basic information about yourself, your health, and your travel plans to get these documents. For the Travel Request, you must supply a valid reason for entering the country during the pandemic.

Check the FAQ section to get more details about the testing and quarantine requirements.

Apply now.

After filling out the application form, our team will send the eVisitor Visa to your email inbox when they are ready. We'll also email you the Travel Request if you choose to get one. Check-in staff at the airport for your Australian-bound flight will check your passport to electronically confirm your eVisa. Despite this, we recommend that you bring hard copies of both documents.

Required Documents to Apply
  • A current valid passport, with at least 6months of validity.

  • Supporting documents of a compelling reason.

  • A credit/debit card or a PayPal account

Important Instructions
  • If you choose to get the Travel Request Form, keep in mind you should only complete this form if you are planning to travel within the next 3 months. Requests to travel outside of 3 months will not be considered. Check the website regularly as travel restrictions are subject to change.

  • The Australia COVID-19 Travel Request Form is part of the required documents you will need to enter Australia. It DOES NOT replace a visa, so if your nationality requires one, you have to get a visa.

  • All travelers arriving in Australia must undertake a mandatory 14-day quarantine at designated facilities in their port of arrival.

  • Travelers on designated green safe travel zone flights from New Zealand are exempt from quarantine requirements.

  • From 21 February 2022, all fully vaccinated visa holders (including tourists) will be able to travel to Australia without needing to apply for a travel exemption. Unvaccinated visa holders will still need a valid travel exemption to enter Australia. Documents must be officially translated into English in a PNG, JPG, or JPEG format up to 5MB.
