What is the Austria Schengen Visa?

The Austria Schengen Visa for Fijian citizens can be used to explore the country, as well as the 27 countries in the Schengen zone:

Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

Use the Austria Schengen Visa to:

  • Explore Austria and any other Schengen country for tourism purposes.

  • Visit family and friends living in European countries.

  • Do business and scientific research.

  • Go to Austria for medical reasons.

  • Participate in training and short studies.

  • Play sports and participate in cultural activities.

However, note that you can’t work, receive payments, or reside in Austria with a Schengen Visa as this is mainly a tourist visa. The Austrian government website offers more information about work visas and residency permits.

How long can I stay in the country with the Austria Schengen Visa?

This Austrian Visa is (usually) a Multiple Entry document, with a maximum permitted stay of 90 days Per Entry within 180 days.

This means you can enter and leave Austria as often as needed to visit other countries in the Schengen area during those 90 days.

When applying with us, we submit an application for a multiple-entry visa. However, it is up to the Austrian government to determine if you get a multiple-entry, double-entry, or single-entry visa based on your personal circumstances.

Do Fijian citizens need the Austria Schengen Visa?

Yes, citizens from over 100 countries, including Fiji, need a visa to enter Austria and the Schengen Zone.

Children and minors from Fiji also need a valid visa, even when traveling with their parents or legal guardians. Simply apply together as a family by clicking ‘Add another person’ during the online iVisa process!

Austria Schengen Visa fees: Cost and processing time for Fijian citizens
