Azerbaijan Visa Requirements for the Citizens of Pakistan

Azerbaijan Visa Requirements for the Citizens of Pakistan
iVisa | Updated on Mar 08, 2019

On May 2017, the Azerbaijan government began issuing a special electronic visa for citizens of over 90 nationalities, Pakistan being one of the countries in which this is available. Nonetheless, just because the process is more accessible now, doesn't mean that there are no requirements that need to be taken into consideration when filling out an application.

The Azerbaijan Government is currently working on simplifying the process, meaning that they intend to reduce the number of required documents that justify the trip’s purpose, but until that is done, you can still enjoy a fast and straightforward application process. If you’re ready to fill out an application, here’s what you need to know.

General Requirements

Azerbaijan has no special requirements when it comes to submitting an electronic visa application. However, all applicants must keep in mind that visas on arrival are only available for two countries (Iran and the United States). Electronic visas, on the other hand, can be released in the same terms for all eligible nationalities.

Before filling in our online application form, you should make sure that you have everything you need for a successful application process. Here is what you must provide:

  • Passport – all applicants need to have a passport that remains valid for at least another 6 months from the intended date of arrival in Azerbaijan. Otherwise, you risk having your application denied.

  • A passport scan – we only need the information page of your passport. Here you will find instructions on how to make the best passport scan for your application.

  • A digital photo of you – in order to complete your application form, our visa experts will need a digital photo of all applicants. Make sure that it was taken in the last 6 months and meets the photo requirements!

  • E-mail address – when applying with iVisa, your visa will be sent to you via e-mail, so make sure that you introduce a valid e-mail address you have access to.

  • Means of payment – iVisa accepts multiple methods of payment such as credit/debit cards or Paypal. The visa for Azerbaijan costs the equivalent of $25, and the service fee for iVisa is only $20. The prices differ depending on the processing time you choose and the currency exchange rate.

Your e-Visa application should be submitted before your planned date of travel. Even if you are eligible, you cannot obtain a visa upon arrival at the border checkpoint of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

How to apply for a UAE visa for Indians?

Once you have made sure you have everything you need in hand, you can proceed to the application form. The form is easy to complete, and iVisa has an excellent support service if you need any help. There are three steps you need to finish.

The first step is filling out the application form with your personal information. Additionally, you must also select a processing time for your application. iVisa gives you three options to choose from:

  • Standard processing – your request is processed within 2 business days, and you need to pay $45 for your visa.

  • Rush processing – this time, it takes only 24 hours for your application form to be processed, and you will be charged $75.

  • Super Rush processing – if you want your Azerbaijan visa as fast as possible, this option is the right choice for you, as you will be able to get your travel documentation in as little as 2 hours. The cost, however, is $95.

Once you have successfully completed the first step, you can move on to step two which will ask you to make the payment and revise your application.

Remember, it is important to make no mistakes that may compromise your application, this way you will not have to repeat the process.

The last step will be uploading any additional documents that may improve your chances of obtaining the visa. Don’t worry! iVisa will let you know precisely what you need to provide. Once all three steps are complete, you can submit your application and then wait for your document to arrive via e-mail in PDF format. Do not forget to print out at least one copy.

In addition to the things mentioned above, you will be asked to answer a set of personal questions. The questionnaire is not lengthy, and it should take only 5 to 10 minutes to complete. This entire process should just take about 20 minutes to complete, and you can do it in the most comfortable way possible.

Remember! Pakistani citizens who are currently planning a trip to Azerbaijan for a period exceeding 10 days. You need to register your stay with the State Migration Service. Other than that, your effort will be minimal.

iVisa has a rating of 9.5 from over 1,800 reviews on Trustpilot, so join its thousands of satisfied customers and make your Azerbaijan adventure come to life.
