Taiwanese can now apply for their visa online if they are planning to travel to Bahrain. If you are not from a visa-exempt country, such document is needed to cross the border. However, getting one no longer requires you to go to Bahrain’s embassy. You can just use iVisa and have your visa delivered via e-mail in as fast as three business days.

The first thing that you need is to check your eligibility and you may apply online. To do so, you may use the Visa Checker. It’s a tool that is useful if you want to know whether or not you qualify for a Bahrain evisa. You just need to enter Taiwanese as your nationality, and then put Bahrain as your destination, and you’ll get the result right away.

What are the requirements?

iVisa process starts with a few simple steps. You’ll need to prepare some documents and here is a list of what you need to provide:

  • Valid passport – a Taiwanese passport is a pretty common document. Acquiring one is easy and if you already have one, make sure that it is valid and remains to be as such for at least six months more from your date of arrival.

  • Valid e-mail address – iVisa send Bahrain evisa through the internet so you need a valid e-mail address. Make sure that you check the spelling. The information must be as accurate as possible, or you cannot receive your visa.

  • Return flight ticket – since the Bahrain evisa for Taiwanese permits you to stay inside the country for maximum of 14 days. The authorities need some proof that you will return to your state until your visa expires. A return flight ticket provides some assurance.

  • Means to support yourself during your stay – means of subsistence is a commonly requested thing at the immigration offices all over the world. You may be required to provide a bank statement or anything else that proves you have the means to support yourself during your trip. That way you cannot be suspected of going to Bahrain for illegal work.

  • Means of payment – before submitting your application, you will be required to make the payment. You need to pay for your visa and the services provided by iVisa. You can use a credit/debit card or a Paypal account.

Bahrain evisa for Taiwanese – Processing Time and Fees

The service fee depends on the processing time that you’d prefer. iVisa provides three options you may choose from. Keep in mind that the faster you want your visa, the more you will pay for it. Here are your selections:

  • Standard processing – for $114, this is the cheapest option you have. It takes the longest for your application to be processed. Your visa will arrive within 10 business days, and you have to pay for it. Even so, it is an excellent solution if you like to plan ahead.

  • Rush processing time – this time, the waiting time is cut in half. Your application will be processed within 5 business days, but the cost is $144.

  • Super Rush processing time –you can opt for this processing time if you are in a hurry. It is the fastest available. Your visa for Taiwanese will be ready within only 3 business days. As you can probably expect, the cost is higher as well. The total amount you will be charged is $179.

You should stay on the safe side because, while delays almost never happen, it is advisable to apply for your Bahrain evisa ahead of time. For example, if you select the Rush processing time, it is best if you apply 7 days before your date of departure. Even so, you will be notified of any delay that may happen.

Clearly, you do not need much for a Taiwanese digital visa. The process is quite simple, but if you need any help with your application, iVisa has an excellent support service that is available 24/7. You will receive a visa in PDF format, and you need to print it out, but at the same time, it will be linked to your passport electronically. You are allowed to stay for 14 days in Bahrain, but if you are Irish or British, the max stay is up to 90 days.
