Due to the current health situation, aside from your visa, you should also get the Health Form before your trip. The good news is that iVisa.com offers both documents in a single service, so you don’t have to worry about anything. Check our FAQs, where we answer your question:

iVisa.com Recommends

Start with the Grand Marché du Dantokpa, located in Cotonou, Benin’s capital. The market is in the center of Cotonou and borders the Boulevard St. Michel and a lagoon. Everything you can imagine can be found here. The labyrinthine lanes offer fish, soap, clothes, goats, DVDs, car parts, and much more. Inside the market building, you can buy batiks and Dutch wax cloth.

The most impressive part of the site is the Fetish market on the northern end. On this part, you can find objects associated with voodoo, such as tree barks, dried plants, and stalwarts for voodoo rituals. Take a stroll around and see dried animal parts, like skins, heads, and hoofs. Also, you can see live rats and fish, the same as hand-carved wood. The market has an unsavory smell due to the rotting animals’ parts. Prepare yourself for this unusual experience. Once you purchase a piece, local merchants will wrap it in cloth so you won’t need to touch it directly. Remember to be respectful about voodoo beliefs. Also, don’t be afraid to ask more about the use of these objects.
