What is a 10-year China Visa?

It is a visa that allows you to enter and leave China as many times as you want within the 10 year period. Please note that the maximum stay is 60 days Per Entry.

What are the documents required to apply?

You should have the following available while you complete our simple online form:

  • Travel itinerary.

  • Valid passport with at least 1 year of validity and at least 2 blank pages. Otherwise, the China embassy/consulate will not issue the visa for 10 years.

What are the processing times and prices?

Can I still get the 10-year visa if my passport expires in less than 10 years?

Yes. You can get a 10-year visa as long as your passport is valid for more than 1 year. However, the validity period of the visa is determined by the Embassy/Consulate of China in the USA.

How many times can I enter China with a 10-year Tourist Visa?

The China 10-year Tourist Visa allows Multiple Entry.

What happens after I have applied?

Once the application is done, you will receive the Chinese Application Form confirmed by email. Then you will need to follow these two steps:

  • Submit your application form and other documents required to the Visa Office of Chinese Embassy/Consulate based on your State of residence.

  • Pay the visa cost at the Visa Office and pick your visa.

What documents do I need to present to the Visa Office of Chinese Embassy/Consulate?

You will need to present the following documents:

  • Printed application form with a recently-taken color passport photo against a light background attached.

  • Valid passport (at least 1 year of validity and 2 blank pages).

  • Flight itinerary.

  • Hotel Reservation or Invitation Letter.

  • Proof of legal residence: Driver’s license or government ID, or a utility bill.

To which embassy or consulates can I go to obtain my China visa?

According to your state of residence, you must go to the following embassy or consulates:

  • Consulate of China in Houston-Texas.

  • Consulate of China in Chicago-Illinois.

  • Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in USA-Washington.

  • Consulate of China in New York.

  • General Consulate in San Francisco.

  • General Consulate in Los Angeles.

Can I use a valid visa on an expired passport?

Yes. If you have a new passport but your visa is still valid you may travel with both passports. Note that if your personal details have changed on your new passport you will have to reapply and pay for a new visa.

How can I apply for my family or friends?

You can perfectly apply for friends or family. Just make sure to have all the required documents (you can see above in this article). If you are applying for only one friend or family member, just apply here introducing his or her data. In case you need to apply for more than one person, you can do so by clicking on ‘Add new applicant’ in the application form and completing the data required.

Do I need a China 10-year Visa if I am in transit through China?

If your transit/layover is 24 hours or less, you will not need a visa as long as you have a confirmed onward ticket. You will need to go through immigration and show your passport and onward ticket, where they will stamp a special stopover permit, free of charge.

What can I do if I make a mistake in my application?

If we already submitted your application, then you can NOT make any changes and you will have to apply again but we will NOT charge you another service fee.
