Those holding a US passport, who also reside in the US, are now eligible for a 10-year visa for tourism. The Chinese Tourist Visa permits you to visit China within the 10 year period.
Keep in mind that the maximum stay per visit is 60 days Per Entry.

People with a Group eVisa can stay for 30 days in Total and it's a Single Entry Visa.
Travelers with a Tourist eVisa can stay in the nation for 60 days Per Entry, and it's a Multiple Entry Visa.

How does the China eVisa work?
