What is a Chinese eVisa?
The Chinese Group eVisa is a tourist visa that is issued to tourist groups comprised of least 2 members traveling together both into and out of China. The Chinese Group eVisa is issued as a stand-alone document, not as a sticker on a passport, like the Chinese Tourist Visa.
Those holding a US passport, who also reside in the US, are now eligible for a 10-year visa for tourism. The Chinese Tourist Visa allows you to enter and leave China as many times as you want within the 10 year period. Please note that the maximum stay per visit is 60 days Per Entry. How long can visitors stay in China with a China eVisa?
Visitors with a Group eVisa will be able to stay in China for a maximum of 30 days Total and it is a Single Entry Visa.
Visitors with a Tourist eVisa can stay in the country for a maximum of 60 days Per Entry, and it is a Multiple Entry Visa.

How long is the China eVisa valid?
The Chinese Group eVisa is valid for 30 days after arrival, while the Chinese Tourist eVisa is valid for 10 years after issued.

How does the China eVisa work?
The Chinese Group eVisa is issued electronically by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Chinese Government. We enter the applicant's information into the Chinese eVisa system and after they review it, we are notified of the outcome of the application.

What happens after I have applied?
Once your application for the Chinese Group eVisa is done, you will receive the Group eVisa by email. No need to deal with the embassy. We do it for you so you don't lose valuable time. Next, present a printed version of your Chinese Group eVisa along with your passport once you enter China.
For the Chinese Tourist Visa, after you received the application confirmed by email, you will need to follow the next steps:
Submit your application form and other required documents to your local Chinese Embassy/Consulate.
