Obtaining an Egypt visa for Czech citizens using the internet is possible since December 2017. Egypt has allowed the release of electronic visas for the citizens of 46 countries, and the Czech Republic is one of them. That means that if you are a Czech citizen, you are no longer required to go to the Egyptian embassy in your country and apply for a tourist visa. Instead, you get to do it from home, using only a computer, a tablet, or a smartphone. iVisa provides excellent services so that your efforts are minimal.
What is required of you?
Before starting the application process, you need to make sure that you have a couple of things at hand. There are a few requirements you need to meet. Here is a list of everything you need to provide and do along the way:
A valid passport – if you do not have a passport, you can get one easily. If you have one, make sure that it is valid and will remain as such at least for another six months from your date of arrival in Egypt. Otherwise, your visa application will not be granted.
A scan of the information page of your passport – you will be required to upload it in step three of the application form.
Complete a personal questionnaire – step three of the application form will also require you to answer a set of personal questions. It is nothing out of the ordinary. They just want to know the reasons for your travels and such. It should take about 5 minutes of your time.
Means of payment – since you are required to make the payment before you submit your application (step two of the application,) you need to have a credit or debit card ready. If you have a Paypal account, you should know that iVisa accepts that too.
Egypt visa for Czech citizens – the application form
Once you have everything you need, you can move forward and start filling in the online application form. It is easy to understand and is broken into three simple steps. The first one will ask you to fill in your personal information. You are also required to choose the visa type and processing time. They will both determine the Egypt visa cost. As for the latter, you have three options:
Standard processing time – when you select this option, you Egypt e-visa will arrive via e-mail within 5 business days. This is the cheapest processing time you have at hand. It costs only $50. $25 is the price of the visa itself, and the other half goes to iVisa as a service fee.
Rush processing time – this option will shorten the application processing time by one day. Your application will be processed within four business days, and you will be charged $80.
Super Rush processing time – if you have an emergency and need to be on a plane to Egypt as fast as possible, this is the option for you. Your application will be processed within 3 business days. As you may have guessed, the price goes higher as well. You will be charged $115.
The fees listed above apply to the 30-day single-entry Egypt evisa. For the multiple-entry version, the prices will go higher by $35 for each processing time.
The second step consists of revision and payment, and the last one will ask you to upload additional documents and fill in the questionnaire. After you are done, you can submit your application and wait for your visa to arrive.
