Egypt’s Government has allowed the release of electronic visas for the citizens of all European Union countries, which means that Latvia is one of them. As a result, an Egypt visa for Latvian citizens is now more accessible than ever. There is no trip to the embassy and no hassle whatsoever. If you want to apply, all you need is iVisa and a few documents. The rest should be plain sailing.
In order to get through the application process, you need to have a few documents at hand. There is nothing out of the ordinary, and the requirements are easy to meet. Chances are you already have everything you need, but here is a list of all the things that you should have:
A valid passport – if you do not have a passport, you can get one easily. If you have one, make sure that it is valid and will remain as such at least for another six months from your date of arrival in Egypt. Otherwise, your visa application will be denied.
A scan of the information page of your passport – you will be required to upload it in step three of the application form.
Means of payment – since you are required to make the payment before you submit your application (step two of the application,) you need to have a credit or debit card ready. If you have a Paypal account, you should know that iVisa accepts that as well.
The form designed by iVisa could not be simpler. There are three steps you need to go through, and the whole thing should last about 20 minutes. The first step is to insert your personal information. At this point, you are also required to choose a processing time and a visa type. Keep in mind that both of them will affect the visa cost. As for the processing time, you have three options:
Standard processing time – when you select this option, your Egypt e-visa will arrive via e-mail within 5 business days. This is the cheapest processing time you have at hand. It costs only $50. $25 is the price of the visa itself, and the other half goes to iVisa as a service fee.
Rush processing time – this option will shorten the application processing time by one day. Your application will be processed within four business days, and you will be charged $80.
When it comes to visa type, you have two options: single-entry and multiple-entry. The fees for the first one are found above, and the second is just $35 more expensive.
The second step consists of a simple revision and payment, and the third step will ask you to fill in a personal questionnaire and upload additional documents. That is pretty much it. You submit your application and wait. In case you need any help, iVisa provides assistance 24/7.
All in all, getting an Egypt visa for Latvian citizens is a piece of cake. Your effort is minimal, and iVisa does an excellent job.
