The citizens of 46 countries can apply online for an electronic visa for Egypt, and Norway is on that list. As a result, an Egypt visa for Norwegian citizens is now more accessible than ever. All you are required to do is access iVisa’s website and fill in an online application form. You can forget about going to the embassy. Instead, you can apply from home, whenever you want, day or night.
What do you need?
While iVisa designed a straightforward process, you still need to provide a few pieces of information. However, you should have an easy time getting all of them. Here is a list of everything you need:
A valid passport – if you do not have a passport, you can get one easily. If you have one, make sure that it is valid and will remain as such at least for another six months from your date of arrival in Egypt. Otherwise, your visa application will be denied.
A scan of the information page of your passport – you will be required to upload it in step three of the application form.
Means of payment – since you are required to make the payment before you submit your application (step two of the application,) you need to have a credit or debit card ready. If you have a Paypal account, you should know that iVisa accepts that as well.
A valid e-mail address – iVisa will send you the document via e-mail, which means that there is no room for error when you fill in the application. If you fail to type in the correct address, you will not have access to your visa, which is most unfortunate because you have to go through the application process again. Double-check the spelling before you submit your application, and you should be fine.
Egypt visa for Norwegian citizens – the application form
iVisa designed a simple application form, and it should take you about 20 minutes to complete. It is broken down into three simple steps. The first one will ask you to insert your personal information. You must also choose a processing time and a visa type. As for the processing time, you are given three options:
Standard processing time – when you select this option, your Egypt e-visa will arrive via e-mail within 5 business days. This is the cheapest processing time you have at hand. It costs only $50. $25 is the price of the visa itself, and the other half goes to iVisa as a service fee.
Rush processing time – this option will shorten the application processing time by one day. Your application will be processed within four business days, and you will be charged $80.
Super Rush processing time – if you have an emergency and need to be on a plane to Egypt as fast as possible, this is the option for you. Your application will be processed within 3 business days. As you may have guessed, the price goes higher as well. You will be charged $115.
The visa type is related to how many entries you are allowed on a single visa. For the single-entry visa, the fees are mentioned above, and the multiple-entry visa costs an extra $35.
The second step consists of payment and revision, and the last step will ask you to complete a personal questionnaire, as well as to upload additional documents. Once you are done, you submit your application and then wait for your visa to arrive.
As you can see, getting an Egypt visa for Norwegian citizens could not be easier. The process is fast and straightforward, and iVisa provides assistance every step of the way.
