Russia is one of the 46 countries whose citizens can now apply for an Egypt electronic visa. As a result, an Egypt visa for Russian citizens has become more accessible than ever. All you need is a computer, tablet, or smartphone and an internet connection. The application process is entirely online, and iVisa will help you get your visa in as little as 48 hours.
What is required of you?
Before completing the application form, it is best to gather all the information you need to get started. iVisa does not ask for much, and chances are you already have everything you are required to provide. Here is a list of all the requirements:
A valid passport – if you do not have a passport, you can get one easily. If you have one, make sure that it is valid and will remain as such at least for another six months from your date of arrival in Egypt. Otherwise, your visa application will be denied.
A scan of the information page of your passport – you will be required to upload it in step three of the application form.
Means of payment – since you are required to make the payment before you submit your application (step two of the application,) you need to have a credit or debit card ready. If you have a Paypal account, you should know that iVisa accepts that as well.
A valid e-mail address – iVisa will send you the document via e-mail, which means that there is no room for error when you fill in the application. If you fail to type in the correct address, you will not have access to your visa, which is most unfortunate because you have to go through the application process again. Double-check the spelling before you submit your application, and you should be fine.
Egypt visa for Russian citizens – the application form
iVisa has designed one of the simplest application forms. It is broken down into three steps, and you should spend about 20 minutes completing them. The first one will ask you to insert your basic information and select a processing time. Keep in mind that it will determine the cost. You have three options:
Standard processing time – when you choose this option, your Egypt e-visa will arrive via e-mail within 6 days. This is the cheapest processing time you have at hand. It costs only USD 55.00.
Rush processing time – this option will shorten the application processing time by one day. Your application will be processed within 4 days, and you will be charged USD 85.00.
Super Rush processing time – if you have an emergency and need to be on a plane to Egypt as fast as possible, this is the option for you. Your application will be processed within 48 hours. As you may have guessed, the price goes higher as well. You will be charged USD 120.00.
The visa type will also affect the cost. The fees for the single-entry visa can be found above, while the multiple-entry visa costs more.
The second step will ask you to make a revision and the payment. The last step consists of additional documents upload and a personal questionnaire. When you are done, you submit your application and then wait for your visa to arrive.
As you can notice, an Egypt visa for Russian citizens is easy to acquire. Everything is so simple, but if you need any help, you can contact iVisa’s support service. It is available 24/7.
