Ethiopia visa for Indian citizens

Alt Text

Indian citizens who would like to go to Ethiopia in the near future should know that they can get their visa using the online service provided by iVisa. You no longer have to waste time and energy on a process that you can now complete online. All you have to do is invest 20 minutes of your time, and your Ethiopia visa will arrive in as little as 24 hours.

How does that work?

The answer to that question is simple. You can apply online for your visa, anytime and from anywhere. As long as you have a computer or a smartphone and an internet connection, you can complete the task in no time. As for the documents you need to get started, all you must put together is a passport that will remain valid for at least six months from your arrival date in Ethiopia, a digital copy of your passport, and a digital passport-sized photo of yourself. If you reside in a country other than India, you can also apply, but you are required to have a residence permit. However, a letter or a sticker in your passport should be more than enough.

The application itself is very simple. There are three steps you must complete. If you find yourself in need of help, you should know that iVisa has an excellent customer support service that is ready to take your call and assist you every step of the way. The first step is easy. You need to put in your basic information like name, address, phone number, passport information, and so on. You must also select the processing time of your application. The seconds step consists of a quick revision and payment. You can make the payment using your credit/debit card or a Paypal account. The last step will require you to upload additional documents, which are mentioned above. After you complete all three steps, you can hit the submit button. Your visa will arrive via email in PDF format. You need to print it and take it with you when you leave for Ethiopia.

How much does it cost?

As far as cost goes, iVisa has quite low prices. Also, the fee depends on two things: the type of the visa you want (the 30-day or the 90-day visa) and the processing time you choose. There is just a 20$ difference between the two types, but the processing times are as follows:

  • Standard – if you select this option, your visa will arrive within three business days, and you will be charged 87$ (7348.87 INR.)

  • Rush – this time, your application will be processed within two business days, and the cost is higher, 117$ (9409.30 INR) to be more specific.

  • Super Rush – your application will be processed in just one business day, but as you may expect, the cost is higher. You will spend 152$ (11,813.14 INR)

Sometimes, delays happen, but it is not often, and you will be notified whenever that is the case. The visa you receive provides a single entry, and you can use it only if you fly to Ethiopia and land at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport. Any other means of transportation or point of entry will require you to go to the Ethiopian embassy to get your visa.
