Gibraltar is a magnificent destination to start your Eurotrip. Visit Europa Point, or also known as the 19th-century Trinity Lighthouse. Check the old chapel of Nuestra Señira de Europea and the incredible Mosque of the Custodian of the Holy Mosques. Besides, you can check the impressive Harding Bay, a fortification dating back to 1859. Other nearby attractions include the Sikorski Memorial and views of the Algeciras Bay and the African coast.

Check the famous Barbary macaques, a species from Morocco and only wild monkeys in Europe. If you want to see them in their natural habitat, go to Gibraltar Nature Reserve, located in the Upper Rock area. Head to the Apes’ Den for a closer look at these apes. Although these animals seem harmless, they could bite you. Also, don’t feed them.

Continue with Gibraltar’s Highest Point that rises 425 meters. Check the popular O’Hara’s Battery, a fortress from 1890. On the inside, you can see some artillery pieces and views from Signal Hill. Take the Mediterranean Steps or board the Gibraltar Cable Car. Either way, you will be uphill in a few hours or minutes.
