Is a COVID-19 test mandatory?

Yes! Apart from your Health Pass, you must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test. The test can’t be older than 72 hours before the start of your trip. If you don’t have a COVID-19 test, you can’t board your flight to Guatemala.

At your arrival, you will go through a medical check. If you show any COVID-19 symptoms, authorities could not allow your entry to Guatemala. Although these restrictions may seem hard, remember that health authorities want to keep you and the Guatemala population safe.

Do I need a COVID vaccine or vaccination certificate to enter Guatemala?

No, you don't. As of today, COVID vaccination passports or certificates are not a mandatory to enter Guatemala.
