Guinea is a country in West Africa with many tourist places, including the Integral Nature Reserve of Mount Nimba and the Great Mosque, in Conakry (the capital city).

The Conakry Grand Mosque was built under Ahmed Sékou Touré with the financial help of King Fahd of Saudi Arabia. It is the fourth largest mosque in Africa and the largest in Sub-Saharan Africa. This is an interesting place to visit because it has numerous gardens that contain the Camayanne Mausoleum, including the tombs of the national hero Samori Ture, Sékou Touré, and Alfa Yaya.

In addition to some mosques of particular beauty, Guinea is also home to the National Park of Upper Niger. The park covers around 6000 square kilometers of the north-eastern part of the country, of which 600 square kilometers make up the central area. The park protects significant expanses of rainforest and savanna, and it is considered a conservation priority in West Africa as a whole.

As for other places to visit, you can always add to your list Fouta Djallon, the Mosquée Turque de Koloma, Ile Kassa, the National Museum of Guinea, Ile Roume, and Niokolo-Badiar National Park.
