WHO CAN ENTER GUINEA WITH THIS DOCUMENT
Every foreign national who wishes to enter Guinea. Citizens of most countries who want to visit Guinea have to obtain a Guinea eVisa beforehand. Some countries are exempt from visas under bilateral agreements with Guinea. You need a Guinea visa unless you are from one of the visa-exempt countries below:

Algeria, The Gambia, Niger, Benin, Ghana, Nigeria, Burkina faso, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, Cape Verde, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Tanzania, Egypt, Morocco and Togo.

There are also Guinea visa exemptions for non-ordinary passports.

In addition to the countries listed above, holders of diplomatic or service passports from the following countries do not need a visa to enter Guinea for up to 90 days:

China (also includes holders of ordinary passports endorsed “for public affairs“). Romania, Russia, South Africa, Turkey (holders of diplomatic passport only) and Zimbabwe

OBTAIN THE GUINEA EVISA
To fill out the Guinea eVisa application, you will have to provide the following documents, including, but not limited to:

  • Passport front page
  • Passport size photo (white background)
  • Confirmed return flight booking.
  • Yellow fever certificate
  • Additional documents may be needed based on the purpose of your travel

Once you have applied for your Guinea eVisa online and your eVisa is accepted by the authorities, an acknowledgement email of your successful submission will be sent to your registered email.

An Entry Visa Letter will be sent to you via email once the application is approved by the Authority.

Then, proceed to the visa on-arrival counter when you arrive in the country to get your visa. Applicant photo and fingerprint will be captured at the enrolment counter

  • Passengers who test positive and are asymptomatic will be forced to undergo a compulsory 14-day quarantine at the Conakry Onomo Hotel. The travelers will be allowed to leave the hotel after 14 days of quarantine and two negative COVID-19 checks.

  • Unvaccinated travelers and those who are not fully vaccinated must quarantine at the Onomo Hotel in Conakry between 48 to 72 hours. Food and lodging are at their own expense. Travelers are allowed to end quarantine with a negative test result.
