  • Passport – you will have no difficulties in obtaining a passport, and if you already have one, make sure that it is still valid. Just look at the expiry date.

  • Digital photo of yourself – it is recommended that the photo is recently taken. Face gestures are not allowed, and the background should be white.

  • A passport scan of the information page

  • Payment means – iVisa accepts multiple methods of payment. Aside from using credit or a debit card, Paypal is accepted too since it quite popular now.

  • Business card copy and invitation letter – this requirement applies to people who want to go to India on business and apply for an India business evisa.

  • Letter from the hospital in India – this is valid for people who apply for a medical visa.

How much is the fee?

Service cost may also worry most Bahamians, but iVisa promised to provide amazing service for an affordable price. The cost of your visa depends on two factors: processing time and visa cost. There are three available options for visa cost:

  • Standard processing – most applicants go for standard because it is the cheapest option. It costs just $87, and your visa will be ready within three business days.

  • Rush processing – this time your application will be processed in just 1 business day. However, the cost goes a bit higher than with the previous option. You will be charged $117.

  • Super Rush processing time – there is not a significant difference between this option and the previous one. This option will have your application processed in just 18 hours, but those six hours may prove useful in urgent situations. As expected, the price is $152.

As for the visa type, Bahamians can travel to India for purposes such as evisa for tourism, business, and medical. Depending on which one you choose, there is a specific price. The fees for the tourist evisa are listed above. The business and medical visas will cost an additional $10 more.

The Application Forms

We cannot escape worries and stress whenever we think about how complicated the application forms are. iVisa is very much aware of that, and had simplified the forms that Bahamians will fill in. It should take only 20 minutes for all three stages to complete. Aside from that, they have a customer service on standby 24/7 in case you need assistance.

The application form is divided into three easy steps and it should take you about 5 minutes to complete that first step. Just fill in your general information and choose both the processing time and visa type. The second step consists of revision and payment. Make sure that all the information you provide is 100% correct and accurate. Spelling should also be checked carefully. Lastly, the third step will ask you to answer a few personal questions and upload any additional documents you are required. After you are done with all that, you can click the submit button and wait. That is about it.

Bahamians will be given the permission to have multiple entries with their evisa and can stay in India for maximum 60 days. Just remember that the India evisa is accepted only at 25 airports and 5 seaports. You will need to go to the embassy if you select another point of entry during your trip.
