Do Czech citizens need a visa to visit India?

Czech citizens must obtain an Indian eVisa before traveling to India.

There are several eVisa types that Czech citizens can choose from based on their travel purposes. Let's explore the three main ones:

How long is the India Tourist Visa valid for?

The India Tourist eVisa comes in different types, each with its own validity period, which dictates how long you can stay and how often you can enter India. Here's a detailed look:

  • 30-day visa: Suitable for short visits, this visa allows double entry and is valid for 30 days from the issue date. For instance, if your visa is issued on April 1st, you need to exit India by April 30th.

  • 1-year visa: This option is ideal for those planning several trips to India within a year. It permits multiple entries, with each visit allowed up to 90 days of stay. Note that for nationals from the US, Canada, or the UK, the stay is up to 180 days per entry.

  • 5-year visa: Best for regular visitors to India, this visa grants multiple entries over five years. Each stay is limited to 90 days, but again, US, UK, and Canadian citizens can stay for up to 180 days on each visit.

For both the 1-year and 5-year visas, you're allowed numerous entries as long as you keep to the permitted duration of each visit.
