What makes this city special is that it will hold the opening match in the Olimpico Stadium, in which Italy will play against Turkey on the 12th of June. The other 3 games will take place on the 17th and 21st of June, and on the 4th of July. But did you know that attending the UEFA Euro 2020 in Rome, Italy may entail a visa application process? First of all, keep in mind that Italy is a member state of the Schengen Area, so the rules of the Schengen visa policy apply. What does that mean? As a citizen of an EU or EEA country, you can travel to Italy without any kind of travel document. All that is necessary is a national ID card.
