Flying from Peru to Jordan is already a hard task. If you get a visa, you will be able to get into Jordan. But, what about all the places you want to visit? The Ministry of Tourism in Jordan decided to create and promote what is known as a Jordan Pass.

The Jordan Pass provides free entry for pass holders to a multitude of culture-creating places in Jordan like Petra and archaeological museums at no additional charge.

What’s the expiration date of a Jordan Pass?

Your Jordan Pass will expire 1 year after issued.

Be sure to plan your trip before it expires.

What are the advantages of getting a Jordan Pass instead of a visa on arrival?

Your visa fees are waived (saving you around $56 USD), and you get free access to almost 40 sites in Jordan. It’s a great deal.

How much will I pay for a Jordan Pass?

You must pay for the pass as well as your processing speed selection:

  • Standard - USD $182.99
  • Rush - USD $224.99
  • Super Rush - USD $283.99

What are the processing times for a Jordan Pass?

There are three different processing speeds to choose from when applying for the Pass:

  • Standard Processing should take no more than 3 days to process.
  • Rush Processing will take at most 2 days to complete your application process.
  • Super Rush Processing which will process your application within 24 hours.

What information must I supply to get a Jordan Pass?

  • Valid Passport and/or national ID - 6 months validity is required. Some countries only need to show a national ID to apply.
  • Basic Information - You’ll be asked for basic information to fill out the application.
  • Payment Method - PayPal and major credit cards are accepted.

How long will the Jordan Pass allow me to stay in Jordan?

You’ll have 14 days Per Entry to stay in the country with the Jordan Pass.

If you are going to different countries, be aware of how many times you can enter and exit the country with a Jordan Pass.

You will have Single Entry into Jordan with a Jordan Pass.

When should I not get a Jordan Pass?

You should not get a Jordan Pass if you are staying in Jordan less than 3 nights. If you get a Jordan Pass and stay less than three nights, you will have to pay for a visa anyways while you are in Jordan.
