Learn More: Health Declaration
Taking into account the new measures taken by the Maldivian government to stop the spread of COVID-19, all travelers will need to obtain the new Maldives Health Declaration to enter the beautiful and tropical country.
Protecting the safety of travelers and citizens of The Maldives is extremely important for the authorities, which is why this measure will be implemented for all travelers, no exception.
Also, from July 19th all locals and expatriate work permit holders who arrive in Maldives must complete a home quarantine of 14 days.

If you are planning to travel to Maldives, you must carry your Maldives Health Declaration, this applies for tourists, visa holders and Maldivians. It DOES NOT replace a visa. If your nationality requires a visa, the immigration officers will ask for your Visa when you enter Maldives. Keep in mind some nationalities will require a paper visa. If that is your case, we suggest you contact your local embassy.
You can apply anytime, but we will send you the QR Code associated with your trip no more than 24 hours prior your departure to Maldives, since this form has an expiration date.
At the airport, you must show the QR Code that we will bring you, in order to pass the health check established by The Maldives Health Authorities.
*It is highly recommended that you keep your Health Declaration and the associated QR Code with you either as a soft copy (smartphone, tablet, etc.) or as a hard copy in case of any failure in the system.
