What is the Morocco tourist visa?

The Moroccan foreign affairs department launched an electronic visa for citizens of certain countries planning to travel to Morocco for tourism. The online visa application process allows travelers to obtain their tourist visa without visiting a Morocco embassy or consulate.

How long is the Morocco visa valid for?

The single-entry Morocco tourist visa allows visitors to stay for a maximum of 30 days Per Entry from the date of arrival in Morocco. Please note that you must use the visa within 180 days after issued.

Extending your Morocco visa

If you need to stay longer than thirty days, you can apply for a visa extension at the nearest Moroccan police station. However, this does not guarantee an extension or multiple entries.

Do Gambian citizens need a visa to go to Morocco?

Morocco has granted visa exemption to countries like Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and Canada. However, Gambian passport holders still need a visa to visit Morocco.

Fortunately, Gambian passport holders qualify for the Moroccan e-visa.

Do minors require a Moroccan visa?

The above visa requirements apply to all family members, including young children and minors. Parents or legal guardians can submit visa applications on behalf of their children if they are not old enough to apply on their own. Each person needs their own visa.

Please note that kids traveling alone must also have their birth certificate, letter from their parents, their parent’s marriage certificate or other documents proving their relationship.

Do you need a visa to transit through Morocco?

For travelers transiting through Morocco, you do not need to apply for a Morocco e-visa as long as you meet all other regulations. However, if you plan to leave the airport or go through immigration, you will be required to apply for a Moroccan visa.
