Myanmar visa for Russian citizens

For travelers who want to visit Myanmar soon, Myanmar evisa can now easily be acquired. iVisa is now issuing evisa which is a consular visa in electronic format. What are the requirements?

Russian citizens don’t have to deal with bureaucracy as iVisa will handle it for them. Simply do your part by uploading your requirements so your application will be processed.   • Valid passport – acquiring a passport should be easyand make sure that it is still valid if you already have one. Avoid wasting time and money by making sure that your passport is not yet expired as this will lead to a denied application.

  • Digital photo of yourself – it should be the most recent photo. Make sure that it meets the criteria (white background, no face gestures, etc.)

  • E-mail address – while the visa will be electronically linked to your passport, you need a copy to show at the immigration office in Myanmar. iVisa will send your evisa via e-mail in PDF format. It is advisable to have a spare so print a few copies so that you can put one in each bag.

  • Payment modes –you will be asked to make the payment for both the visa and service fee for iVisa. You can either pay using a credit or debit card. You can use PayPal if you have an account

It is easy process when acquiring a Myanmar visa. In fact, you can complete the online form within 5 minutes since it only consists of three steps. You have to fill in your general information in the first step. Starting with your e-mail address and name and lastly, with your passport info. Once done putting in your details, select the processing time which your visa cost is determined.

In second step, you should review the details and maybe, do a revision. After that, you can pay by following the on-screen instructions. It is highly recommended that Russian citizens carefully input all details. Revisions are no longer allowed once your application was processed.

You might answer personal questions and upload photos upload in the last step. Additional documents might be needed so there will be different requirements for Russian citizens. Once you’ve completed all, click on the submit button then sit back and wait for your visa.

Processing time and cost

For Russian citizens who have tight schedule, iVisa have three superb options for you. As always, your visa cost is higher for a faster processing time. Here is what Russian citizens can opt for:

  • Standard processing – Only $70, it is the cheapest option you have. iVisa will have your application processed within three business days.

  • Rush processing – for $100, your visa will be ready within two business days.

  • Super Rush processing –you can have your application processed within just 1 business day if you select this option. Viable for urgent situations. You will be charged $130 for this option.

The Myanmar evisa enables travelers a maximum stay of 28 days and is valid for 90 days after issue. These document enable Russian citizens to enter the country on specified points of entry: Yangon International Airport, Naypyidaw Airport, and Mandalay International Airport if you travelled by air. If you go by land, you are permitted to enter through Tachileik, Myawaddy, and Kaethaung land border checkpoints.
