I have an Indian passport, do I need a visa to visit New Zealand?

At the moment, Indian visitors need a Consular Tourist Visa, but they'll be required to apply for a New Zealand e-Visa soon. Indian citizens can holiday in New Zealand for up to 9 months on a visitor visa. The fastest and easiest way to apply for a visitor visa is online. If you hold a passport from the UK, or another country under the visa-waiver agreement, you do not need a visa to holiday in New Zealand.

How does the New Zealand e-Visa work?

The New Zealand eVisa is issued electronically by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the New Zealand Government.

Travelers, travel agents, airlines and specialist service providers around the world can use the New Zealand eVisa system to process an eVisa, just entering the applicant's information into the New Zealand eVisa system and the government checks it out.

What are the requirements for the New Zealand e-Visa?
