Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Do I need a visa to visit New Zealand if I'm Albanian?

Yes, Albanian citizens must have a Consular Tourist Visa, at least by now, but they'll be required to apply for a New Zealand ETA very soon.

Just a friendly reminder that iVisa does not provide the New Zealand ETA yet, but you can check your eligibility for other e-Visas on this page. Just choose your nationality and the country of destination and you'll know the information at once.

Do I have a limit of days to stay in New Zealand?

Albanian citizens can remain in New Zealand for 90 days Per Entry

What are the requirements to apply?

The requirements for a New Zealand ETA for the citizens of Albania are the same as for any other nationality. You must gather some documents and fill in an online form. As for what is needed for the application process, you must provide the following:

  • Passport – this is the most important document, and it must remain valid for at least another 3 months from the intended day of departure from New Zealand. You need to have a digital color scan of the information page too.

  • Digital passport photo – make sure that the photo is recent and it has the proper characteristics for a passport photo.

  • A travel itinerary – you need to prove what you plan to do in New Zealand.

  • Proof of accommodation in New Zealand.

  • List of all your periods of employment.

  • Documents that prove your ties to your home country.

  • Proof of sustenance – you have to bring evidence that shows you can provide for yourself while in New Zealand. A bank statement, for example.

  • Email address – iVisa will send you the New Zealand ETA via email, so you need to have a valid e-mail address.

  • A valid payment method – iVisa accepts credit and debit cards, but you can also use a PayPal account.

What are the processing times and how much does it cost the ETA?

The price of your New Zealand ETA depends on one thing, and that is the processing time you choose while completing the application form. iVisa gives you three choices so that you can select the one that best suits your needs. They are as follows:

  • Standard processing (2 days): USD $89.99.

  • Rush processing (6 hours): USD $135.99.

  • Super Rush processing (2 hours): USD $190.99.

What is the validity of the New Zealand ETA for Albanian nationals?

If you're from Albania, your ETA expires 2 years after issued and it gives you Multiple Entry.

How can I send my online application for the ETA?

You only need to fill in the application form following the steps that we show you below:

  1. The first one asks you to fill in the blanks with your personal information. Travel details and passport info are necessary as well. Also, you are asked to select a processing time for your application, but mind that your choice determines the cost of your ETA.

  2. The second step requires you to make the payment and revise your form. We cannot stress enough the importance of a correct application form. Any mistake will invalidate your visa, and you cannot make corrections once your form reaches the processing stage.

  3. During the last step, the only thing you have to do is to upload the documents that support your application. If additional documentation is required, iVisa will let you know. As soon as you are done with all three steps. You can submit your form.

Needless to say, the process of getting a New Zealand Visitor Visa for the citizens of Albania could not be more convenient, so we recommend you to take advantage of it. If you need extra help with your application, you can contact our customer support team 24/7.

Minors require a visa for New Zealand too?

Yes, there's a huge chance of having to apply for this ETA for your kids. You can contact the Embassy if you have doubts about this topic.

If I'm just transiting through New Zealand, do I need a visa too?

In this case, we recommend you to contact the Embassy of New Zealand in Albania.
