Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

If I'm Tunisian, do I have to apply for a visa if I want to travel to New Zealand?

Yes, if you're from Tunisia then you have to apply for a visa. However, consider that you can only get a Consular Tourist Visa by now.

As we mentioned before, iVisa is not offering the New Zealand ETA yet, but you can check your eligibility for other e-Visas on this page.

It's quite effortless to use the iVisa's Visa Checker, all you need to do is to choose your nationality and also the country of destination in the drop-down fields. This way, you'll observe the information at once.

In other words, you'll know if you can apply for an eVisa to that country or if you don't need a visa. If you must apply for a Consular Visa, you'll be notified as well.

What is a New Zealand ETA?

It's an authorization that allows foreign citizens to travel to the country for transit or tourist purposes.

How long can I stay in New Zealand if I'm a citizen of Tunisia?

You can stay in New Zealand for 90 days Per Entry if you're Tunisian.

What requirements do I need to apply?

Before you think of accessing the application page, we suggest that you first take care of the requirements. You do not need much. iVisa will ask only for the following:

  • A Valid Passport – This is important for anyone who wants to get a New Zealand ETA. You need a passport that keeps its validity for at least 3 months from the intended date of departure from New Zealand.

  • Digital passport photo – The photo must follow all the proper passport guidelines. For example, it needs to be taken against a white background.

  • Evidence of your plans in New Zealand – you need to compile a document that proves some of your activities in New Zealand.

  • Proof of accommodation in New Zealand – a hotel booking reservation will work for this. It can be a letter from your host as well.

  • Financial links and commitments in your home – You can show a property ownership, your current job contract, etc.

  • List of all your periods of employment.

  • Payment Methods – iVisa allows you to pay with more than one payment method.

  • E-mail address – You'll get your ETA via e-mail, even if it is electronically linked to your passport. We suggest you print out the document before departure.

What are the processing times and fees?

With iVisa you have three alternatives related to the processing times and fees. The faster you want your ETA, the more you need to pay:

  • Standard processing – this is the least expensive option and also the newest. Your New Zealand ETA is ready in 2 days and the total price is USD $99.99.

  • Rush processing – with this alternative, the visa arrives a bit faster. You will receive it in 6 hours but you will be charged USD $152.99.

  • Super Rush processing – as you can imagine, the fastest option is also the most expensive. Your application is ready in 2 hours and you need to pay USD $216.99.

How can I apply for it?

As soon as you put together the information and the documents mentioned above, you can move forward with the application process and fill in the online form. It is generally considered an easy task, but if you have questions, iVisa’s customer support service is at your disposal 24/7.

The form consists of three simple steps:

  1. The first one asks for your general information, as well as some details about your trip and passport. You must also choose a processing time for your application, but keep in mind that the choice you make determines the cost of your New Zealand ETA.

  2. The second step consists of payment and revision, and in this part is important to double-check the spelling to avoid mistakes. Remember that if you realize any mistake after your online form is processed, you'll have to apply again.

  3. The third step will ask you to upload the documents that support your application. Once you are done with all three steps, you are free to click on the submit button, and iVisa will deliver the visa in the timeframe of your choosing.

As you can see, getting a New Zealand ETA for the citizens of Tunisia is pretty much effortless when you choose iVisa as your visa service.
