What is the processing time for the Nigerian Tourist e-Visa application?

You will need to choose a processing speed when completing your online application for your e-Visa.

How many times am I allowed to enter Nigeria with a Tourist e-Visa?

Each type of e-Visa has a limit on how many times you can enter the destination country.

In this case, when you purchase a Tourist e-Visa for Nigeria, you will be allowed Single Entry.

Nigerian e-Visa Expiration Date

When you purchase an e-Visa, it will have a “Date of Issuance.” The Date of Issuance is the last day you are legally allowed to use your visa to enter Nigeria.

For the Nigerian Tourist e-Visa, it will expire 14 days after issued.

Maximum Stay Time in Nigeria with the Tourist e-Visa

The maximum amount of time you can stay in Nigeria with an e-Visa is 30 days Per Entry.

This means that you will need a departure ticket showing you are leaving Nigeria on or before the last day of the maximum time you are allowed.

Can I use the Tourist e-Visa for Nigeria for any other purposes except for tourism?

This e-Visa is designed for tourism only. You will not be able to work or live in Nigeria for a long period of time.

It’s a good idea to get all of your documents before you apply for your Nigerian Tourist e-Visa as it will make it faster for you to finish. At a minimum, you will need to supply:

  • Passport Personal Details Scan

  • Cover Letter

  • Invitation Letter

  • Airline Confirmation

  • Applicant Photo

Your return ticket will need to show you are leaving Nigeria before the expiration date on your e-Visa. Your passport will need to have at least 6 months of validity left from the day you plan to arrive in Nigeria.
