What is the processing time for the Nigerian Tourist e-Visa application?

Maximum Stay Time in Nigeria with the Tourist e-Visa

The maximum amount of time you can stay in Nigeria with an e-Visa is 30 days Per Entry.

This means that you will need a departure ticket showing you are leaving Nigeria on or before the last day of the maximum time you are allowed.

When does the Nigerian e-Visa expire?

When you buy an e-Visa, it will have a “Date of Issuance.” The Date of Issuance is the last day you are able to use your visa to enter Nigeria.

For the Nigerian Tourist e-Visa, it will expire 14 days after issued.

How many times am I allowed to enter Nigeria with a Tourist e-Visa?

Each type of e-Visa has a limit on how many times you can enter the destination country.

In this case, when you purchase a Tourist e-Visa for Nigeria, you will be allowed Single Entry.

What type of information do I need to supply to get the Tourist e-Visa for Nigeria?

It’s best to get all of your required documents together before applying for your Nigerian Tourist e-Visa as it will make it faster for you to finish. At a minimum, you will need to supply:

  • Passport Personal Details Scan

  • Cover Letter

  • Invitation Letter

  • Airline Confirmation

  • Applicant Photo

Your return ticket will need to show you are leaving Nigeria before the expiration date on your e-Visa. Your passport will need to have at least 6 months of validity left from the day you plan to arrive in Nigeria.

When you arrive in Nigeria, you will have to present your Arrival Approval Letter and your passport as well as your departure ticket showing your plan to leave Nigeria. Present these documents at the “Visa on Arrival” area at your port of entry, and you will be issued your Visa on Arrival.
