  • This depends on your vaccine status: Passengers traveling to Nigeria have to present a negative PCR test result taken no more than 48 hours before departure if they are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated passengers.

    • COVID test before arrival: PCR test result within 48 hours for unvaccinated travelers.
    • COVID test before arrival exemptions: Travelers under 18, and fully vaccinated travelers.

Nigeria is a country in equatorial West Africa that has the largest population on the continent. In fact, it is the seventh most populated country in the world. It has a southern coast on the Gulf of Guinea, and it shares borders with Benin to the west, Cameroon to the southeast, Chad to the northeast, and Niger to the north. Nigeria is known for being the largest African oil producer and also the largest economy in Africa since 2014.

This country has a popular capital city named Lagos, which is famous for its tech industries, posh restaurants, fancy clubs, and colorful art scene. Lagos is the reflection of modern Africa.

To visit Nigeria, it is necessary to count on certain documentation so that there are no issues at the airport. Many country's citizens don’t need a visa to enter, but they do need a Nigeria Health Declaration Form. The Nigeria Health Declaration Form is an electronic document that allows you to enter the country while there’s a health emergency, including the coronavirus pandemic.

The Nigeria Health Declaration Form is available on our website, so you don’t have to keep looking for other web pages to apply. Plus, we can help you through the Nigeria Health Declaration Form process thanks to our updated platform and our reliable customer service team.

Lagos is an economic and cultural powerhouse in Nigeria thanks to its influx of oil money. This city has an extraordinary art and music scene, and it also has numerous museums that allow you to learn more about Nigerian history. Named after the Portuguese word for lagoon, this modern city has been considered the Nigerian capital since 1991, but before that, it was a Yoruba port and also a British political center.

This capital city has some incredible places to visit including the Lekki Conservation Centre, the Lekki Market, and the National Museum. The Lekki Conservation Centre has a large tract of wetlands set aside for wildlife viewing. Into this center, you can take advantage of the canopy walkways to see monkeys, crocodiles, and many bird species.

As for the Lekki Market, it is a gleaming place to wander and look for affordable gifts. Besides, it is an excellent place to get clothes run up on the spot. If you prefer to learn more about history and culture, then you cannot miss a visit to the National Museum. Some of its exhibitions include a clay Yoruba pot to bury an umbilical cord and an Egungun masquerade costume used for dancing during a chief's funeral.

Lagos is not the only place you should visit in Nigeria as this country has so many things to offer. Abeokuta, for example, is another remarkable place you should include in your checklist for some specific points. It is famous for its Brazilian and Cuban mansions which were built by enslaved people, and these mansions are easy to locate alongside basic shacks with hand-painted signs, historic mosques, and churches.

It is located about 100km (62 miles) north of Lagos. It has a strong cultural identity, and it is known as the birthplace of many popular Nigerians like former President Obasanjo and the writer Wole Soyinka. However, keep in mind that this town is poor, so you must always stay alert to any risks to your personal safety (especially pickpockets).

Abeokuta might be an interesting spot in Nigeria, but Oshogbo cannot be left behind as it is the traditional center for Yoruba spirituality. Additionally, Oshogbo is also the birthplace of much contemporary Nigerian art since the 1950s. In case you visit this town, you should tour Osun Sacred Grove, believed to be the home of Osun, the Yoruba fertility goddess. Oshogbo is also home to Suzanne Wenger's legacy, including her remarkable house that sits in the heart of the town. Wenger was also known as Adunni Olorisha, and she was an Austrian-Nigerian artist who resided in the country for many years until her death in 2009. She was very important in the country due to her main focus on Yoruba culture.

Oshogbo also has other places to visit like the Nike Centre for Art and Culture, and Jimoh Buraimoh's African Heritage Gallery. Nigeria is home to amazing ranches and historical places like the Afi Mountain Drill Ranch, which is one of the country’s highlights. It includes a rainforest canopy walk, close primate sights, and amazing accommodations. Keep in mind that this place is one of Africa’s most progressive primate-conservation centers. As for historical museums, you cannot miss the Slave History Museum, which sits on the site of a 15th-century slave-trading warehouse. This place displays many pieces related to Nigerian slavery and Nigerian history.

Despite having so many things to explore, Nigeria is still one of the most dangerous countries in the world due to the civil conflict in the north-east region. That’s why many foreign governments and authorities, including the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office, advise against all travel to this area. Other reasons that make this region dangerous are ethnic tension, lawlessness, and the activities of the terrorist group Boko Haram. Avoid at all cost visiting this area when traveling to Nigeria.

Please remember to enter Nigeria you must apply for the Nigeria Health Declaration Form first. The Nigeria Health Declaration Form isn’t difficult to obtain by using our online application form. We have created this form to make the Nigeria Health Declaration Form process easier and faster for you so that you can avoid wasting time on official websites, as they tend to be tedious and crowded.

Also, consider that to apply for the Nigeria Health Declaration Form you’ll need a negative COVID-19 PCR Test. Aside from that, you won’t need too many things, as we only ask you to fill in the Nigeria Health Declaration Form by having basic items like a valid passport and a debit/credit card for fees.

We advise you to apply for this document in advance if you’re traveling to Nigeria later. Otherwise, you can apply at any time you want but always consider the processing time for the document.
