Oman Visa fee for Indian citizens

India is not included in 67 countries whose citizens can apply for an Oman e-visa. However, as an Indian, you do have access to an Oman electronic visa if you have a valid visa or a residence permit issued by one of the following countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, or Canada. It is called a conditional visa, and only the valid visa or residence permit gives you access to one. iVisa can help you get your visa, and you can obtain it in as little as 12 hours. As for the cost, the price of your Oman visa is variable. It depends on two factors: the visa type and the processing time.

We will discuss the processing time first because it is easier to discuss. With that in mind, as far as the processing time is concerned, iVisa gives you three options. You need to select one while completing the application form. They are as follows:

  • Standard processing – this is the slowest option you have at hand. Your visa application is processed within 72 hours, and the price is $82. Not so slow, is it?

  • Rush processing – this is the middle option, and it means that you will receive your visa within 48 hours. The fee is $132.

  • Super rush processing – this is the fastest option you have. It is ideal if you have an emergency and you need to be on the next plane to Oman. You will get your Oman e-visa in just 12 hours, but you will be charged $162.

The fees mentioned above apply for the single-entry visa. As the title suggests, you can use the visa to enter Oman just once, and you can stay up to 30 days. This is one of the two visa types you can choose from.

The second visa type you can select during the application process is the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) Resident e-visa. As the title suggests, it is meant for people who do not originate from a GCC country, but they have a residence permit. So, if you are an Indian passport holder with a GCC residence permit, you can apply for this visa type. The fees for this kind of visa are lower while the processing time remains the same. Here are your options:

  • Standard processing – $43

  • Rush processing - $93

  • Super rush processing – $123

As you can see, the Oman visa fees for Indian citizens are affordable. Sure, they may be lower at an embassy, but do not forget about convenience. The fact that you do not have to go anywhere and waste time respecting business hours is really worth it as many people it does. iVisa can help you apply from home, at work, or even on your phone on the bus. The online visa application process is fast, easy, and highly efficient. Why would you want to use another method?
