Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I know if my nationality applies for an eVisa??

It is quite easy to know that, you just have to use our Visa Checker and then write your nationality in the drop-down menu. After that, you just have to write Oman as your destination and you'll know immediately if you apply for this eVisa or no. In case you apply for it you'll be sent at once to the registration page.

What are the requirements for an Oman electronic visa?

The first requirement is that you qualify for an eVisa. Otherwise, you need to go to the nearest embassy and apply there. But if you are eligible, you can enjoy the electronic system. iVisa does not ask much of you, and your efforts are minimal. Even so, you need to send the following documents:

  • Passport – all applicants need to have a passport that remains valid for at least another 6 months from the intended date of arrival in Oman.

  • A passport scan – the information page is the most important part to scan.

  • A digital photo – it must be taken in the last 6 months (minimum). If the photo is more recent than 6 months, it will be even better.

  • Email address – If you apply with us, your visa will be sent to you via email, so make sure that you introduce a valid email address.

  • Payment Methods – We accept multiple methods of payment such as credit/debit cards or Paypal.

  • Valid visa or residence permit – there are some nationalities that will require to supply an official document as a visa or resident permit from the US, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, or Australia. In case, they don't have any of those documents, they won't be able to apply for an Oman eVisa.

What are the processing times and prices of the eVisa?

One of the common concerns about electronic visas is the cost. This is why we offer three options of visa processing times with unique and affordable prices. Below we show you the prices for a single-entry, 30-day eVisa. These are your options:

  • Standard processing (4 days) -USD $116.99.

  • Rush processing (2 days) - USD $159.99.

  • Super rush processing (24 hours) - USD $220.99.

If you want to discover the other types of entries and prices that the Oman eVisa has, please enter here. Remember that the approval of the Oman eVisa takes time to receive it from the Government. We will make as much as we can to get your eVisa in less time, but please have into consideration that it will also depend on how long the Government takes to answer our request.

Do I need to invest a lot of my time in the application form?

No, you do not need to spend a lot of time in the online application form. Just 10 - 20 minutes will be enough to complete your eVisa request.

How is the application form?

We designed a reasonably simple application form that is composed of three steps:

  1. In the first part you will need to complete the form with your personal info, as well as to choose a processing time and visa type.

  2. The second consists of revision and payment.

  3. The third is reserved for additional documents upload. Then just click on the submit button and that is it! From this point, we will take care of the whole process so you do not have to worry about the rest.

If I already have a valid Oman eVisa, can I apply for a new one staying there?

Keep in mind that your Oman eVisa is valid for one year or one month (depending on your choice). The Oman eVisa cannot be received using the same passport until that eVisa expires.

This means that if you lose the passport that contains the valid Oman e-Visa, then you might apply for a new eVisa by paying the relevant fee once more.

What happens if I stay in Oman more than the time allowed?

Consider that if any visitor stays for more than 1-month, there is a fine of 26 USD per day.

How many times can I enter Oman with the Electronic Visa?

The number of entries will depend on your nationality. The Oman eVisa has a Multiple Entry type of eVisa, but you need to see first if your nationality is eligible for this option too in our Visa Checker.

Is it possible to enter Oman by land?

If you hold a valid eVisa, you can enter Oman by land.

Is it safe to use iVisa's services for this eVisa?

Yes, it totally is! iVisa counts with a skillful team that is highly rated thanks to its maximum security processes with personal information. This means that you can feel safe if you decide to apply to your Oman e-Visa.
