iVisa.com Recommends

Papua New Guinea is an island country in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. This country has many beautiful places to visit, including mountains, holy sites, and wildlife. Here are some of my favorite places you can go to in Papua New Guinea.

The Wahgi Valley is a hidden gem for any traveler who enjoys hiking, scenery, and culture. In addition, the limestone caves are great for people who want to be spooked. Mount Hagen is also a great place because of the nearby waterfalls and the two nearby lakes. Karimui has beaches that are breathtaking with crystal clear waters.

The Sepik River is the best place to go if you want some adventure, but also relaxation. Sepik River is perfect for people who like canoeing or kayaking while taking in the surrounding beauty.

Mt. Wilhelm is another excellent place with unmatched views by any other mountain in Papua New Guinea. The starting point of this hike will start on the Tari road, which is actually quite dangerous due to landslides and repairs needed on portions of it. Baliem valley is a fantastic place to visit if you like seeing megalithic structures made up of rocks piled on top of each other over 5 meters high and 10 meters wide!
