Portugal is one of the 35 countries whose citizens will soon have access to a Saudi Arabia electronic visa. It means that a Saudi Arabia e-visa for Portuguese citizens will become available, and you will be able to apply over the internet. No more trips to the embassy for you.
The initiative does not come as a total surprise. Saudi Arabia’s government has been talking about this since back in 2006. The difference now is that they need the money. Since the oil prices went down, they needed to figure out a new source of revenue, and tourism is what came to mind. It is a good thing, too. People have access to a simpler visa application process, and more tourists mean more money. There is a win on both sides.
There are plenty of means to get a visa online, but iVisa is the best by far. The company has been doing this since 2014, and thousands of people have enjoyed their services. With iVisa, all you have to do is fill in a form, and the rest is off your hands. Here are a few of the benefits you get to enjoy if you go with iVisa:
You do not have to go anywhere – as long as you have an internet connection, you can apply for your visa anywhere and at any time. You do not depend on business hours, and you can do it in a break. It is much more comfortable that way.
Fast processing – with iVisa, you are no longer required to wait for your visa for weeks. It is still uncertain how long it is going to take to get your Saudi Arabia e-visa for Portuguese citizens, but in some cases (visas for other countries,) the visa arrives in as little as 15 minutes.
Affordable prices – the cost of your visa depends on the processing time you select, but the service fee for iVisa is one of the lowest you are going to find.
Easy application – we all hate long and highly inquisitive forms. iVisa designed one that asks the bare minimum, and it should not take you more than 20 minutes to go through the whole process.
Unfortunately, we do not have that information at the moment. The official guidelines will be released when the bylaws are adopted. There are still a few details to be put together. However, that will happen at the end of April. Even so, we do know one general requirement, and it regards your passport. If you wish to apply, you need a valid passport that remains valid for at least another 6 months. Other than that, we have nothing definite.
Even though we are still kept in the dark regarding the requirements, we do know that a Saudi Arabia e-visa for Portuguese citizens becomes available in just a few weeks. Until then, iVisa will dedicate all of its resources to help you through the application process so that you do not have to make too much of an effort.
