Iranian Muslims who are going to Saudi Arabia for Umrah will need a visa. If you are a foreign citizen, it is required. As long as you go outside of the Hajj season, you should be able to use an Umrah visa at any time during the year for pilgrimage. It can be used by non-Muslims but they may not enter the cities of Mecca or Medina with this visa.

  • National ID Card or Birth Certificate - You may want to bring one or both of these with you to Saudi Arabia just in case you need it for additional verification.

  • Proof of Lodging - Prove that you have a place to stay while you're in the country.
