The first time when the government of Saudi Arabia started talking about this initiative was back in 2006, but it will only gain effect now. What changed? What is different from 12 years ago? The answer is the oil prices. They went down, so the kingdom’s government needed to come up with alternative sources of revenue. That is why they came up with tourism. Enhancing it is supposed to bring more money into the country. Thus the electronic visa.

How to get a Saudi Arabia e-visa for Slovenes online?

What about the Saudi Arabia e-visa for Slovenes requirements?

At the moment, we do not have more information on the requirements. The government has chosen not to disclose the official guidelines until the bylaws are adopted at the end of April. The reason behind it is unclear. However, we do know that applicants need a valid passport to apply, and the said passport needs to maintain its validity for another 6 months from the date of departure. The rest we are yet to find out.

Although the requirements are not released to the public, rest assured that the Saudi Arabia e-visa for Slovenes will go live in just a little while. iVisa is making all the efforts in preparing for that moment so that you have a straightforward application process.
