To find out whether or not you qualify for a Singapore e-visa, we suggest that you use iVisa’s Visa Checker. It is a simple but efficient feature that will tell you what you need to know. Access the tool, which you can see in the top right corner of this page. You will see two drag-down menus. The one on the left is for your country of origin and on the right; you must put Singapore as your destination. The result will let you know about your options. Moreover, if you are not visa exempt or eligible for a Singapore e-visa, you will be given a list of the nearest embassies where you can go and obtain a consular visa.
What are the requirements?
Once you cross the eligibility off the list, you can move forward with the process. First, you need to make sure that you have everything you need so that iVisa can get the process started. Here is what you need to provide so that you can get your Singapore tourist visa online:
Passport – all travelers must hold a valid passport that does not expire for at least another 6 months from the date of departure from Singapore.
Digital photo – the picture must be taken in the last 3 months.
Valid e-mail address – iVisa will send you your visa via e-mail in PDF format. Do not forget to print it out before departure. Preferably in multiple copies.
Means of online payment – the payment must be made during the application process, which is why you must have a credit/debit card. iVisa accepts PayPal, Alipay, or WeChat ,whichever is more convenient for you.
Return flight ticket – you will be asked to present it when you arrive in Singapore.
Some nationalities are required to present a Yellow fever vaccination certificate as well. Check the visa policy of Singapore for more information about this matter.
What are the steps?
If you have everything you need, you can fill in the application form. It does not take more than 20 minutes, and if you need help, iVisa has an excellent support service that can help you.
The application form has three steps. The first one asks for your personal information and makes you decide on a processing time. Keep in mind that your choice determines the cost of your Singapore e-visa. Here are your options:
Standard – your application is processed within 72 hours, and you will be charged $57.
Rush – this option is a bit faster. Your Singapore e-visa arrives in 24 hours, but you need to pay $87.
Super Rush – this is the fastest option you have. Your application will be processed within 18 hours, and you need to pay a fee of $122.
The second step asks you to make the payment and carefully revise step number one, while the third asks for some documents. Once you complete all three phases, you can submit your application, and iVisa handles the rest.
As you can see, getting a Singapore tourist visa online could not be more straightforward. The document you receive is valid for 90 days since issue, and you are granted multiple entries. The visa allows you to stay in Singapore for up to 30 days per entry.
