What documents do you need to apply for a Singapore Electronic Arrival Card? First and foremost, applicants must be from one of the qualified countries.

Firstly, what's the Singapore electronic arrival card?

In August 2019, the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoint Authority (ICA) introduced the Electronic Arrival Card, available for citizens of qualifying countries. The Arrival Card replaces the Disembarkation/Embarkation card previously required for entry into Singapore. Citizens of qualifying countries can now apply for the Electronic Arrival Card online here. The iVisa application is fast, easy, and can be completed from the comfort of your own home.

The Document received will be valid for 30 days after issued or until passport expires after arrival. This is a Single Entry visa, and the maximum stay is 30 days Per Entry.

What documents do I need for a Singapore Electronics Arrival Card?

The required documents are simple and straightforward:

  • Passport Applicants are required to provide their detailed passport information. All passports must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of arrival in Singapore.

Applicants traveling to Singapore must also possess an individual passport, no matter their age.

  • Clear and recent photo You will need a recent photo with a white background.

  • Travel and ccommodation details You will need to provide details for your travel and accommodation in Singapore.

  • Payment method iVisa only accepts credit/debit card or PayPal payments.

With that, next step is to apply at iVisa!

How to apply at iVisa?

  • Click on the link: and correctly fill in all required information on the application form.

  • Make payment: Next, you’ll be directed to another page for payment and order confirmation.

  • Receive your Arrival Card: Once approved, the Electronic Arrival Card will be emailed to you in PDF format. You must print it out and provide it upon arrival in Singapore.

What is the processing time and application fee for the Electronic Arrival Card?

The processing times and fees may vary according to country. Here are the standard processing times:

  • Standard: 24 hours
  • Rush: 4 hours
  • Super Rush: 30 minutes

The application fee varies according to processing time as follows:

  • Standard: USD $54.99
  • Rush: USD $100.99
  • Super Rush: USD $171.99

Why should I apply for the Electronic Arrival Card online instead of on arrival?

Citizens of qualified countries can obtain their Singapore Arrival Card upon arrival at the airport, but it is time consuming and you often have to wait in a long queue. To avoid hassle at the airport, it is advisable to apply through the online form at the iVisa website, and make sure to have all the required documentation ready.
