In November 2019, South Africa plans to introduce the electronic visa system into its visa policy. Unfortunately, we do not have much information at this point because the official guidelines have not been released to the public yet. All we can do is wait for the South African government to release further information. As a result, we do not know if Chinese citizens will be eligible for a South Africa eVisa, as the list of eligible nationalities is not available yet. In the meantime, we can offer a few details about the South Africa eVisa, but remember that as new information emerges, the information given in this article may change.
What requirements must be met to obtain a South Africa eVisa?
From the information we have at the moment, we cannot tell you precisely what the requirements for a South Africa eVisa will be. However, we do know that all applicants who want to obtain a visa online must have a valid passport. Moreover, the passport must maintain its validity for at least another 30 days after the intended departure date form South Africa and have a minimum of 2 blank pages available for stamping. Please remember that as soon as the South African government releases the official guidelines, more requirements may come to light.
Will the online application process be complicated?
As far as the application goes, iVisa is working to make your job as effortless as possible. To that effect, we are preparing a 2-step online application form that will only take a few minutes to complete. Plus, you will have access to our 24/7 customer support service if you need any help. As mentioned before, the online application form will consist of two steps. The first one will require you to provide some general information about yourself including name, nationality, address, phone number, etc. Passport information and travel details will be necessary as well. The first step of the application form will also ask you to choose a processing speed for your application. Your choice will determine the cost of your South Africa eVisa; the faster the processing time, the more you will be charged. In the second step, all you have to do is make the payment and review your form. iVisa accepts multiple payment methods such as credit/debit cards, PayPal, Alipay, and WeChat. Regarding the review, you will have to be very careful when you provide us with your information. It must be 100% accurate, or your South Africa eVisa may be invalid. When you are done with both steps of the application form, you can hit the submit button. iVisa will send you the South Africa eVisa via e-mail in PDF format within the timeframe of your choosing. As you can see, there is nothing complicated about the online application process. The bottom line is that we cannot know for sure if the South Africa eVisa will be available for citizens of China. But if so, we will make the online application process as easy as possible. Meanwhile, please check again with us soon. More information is expected to come to light any day now.
