Do Congolese need a visa to enter Sri Lanka?

Yes, Congolese citizens need a Consular Tourist Visa to travel to Sri Lanka, at least for now.

What is a Sri Lanka ETA?

The ETA is an official document that allows you to enter Sri Lanka with an electronic link in your passport. This could be the document you could get in the future to enter this destination.

What documents do I need?

Your Sri Lanka ETA will have a different price according to the processing time you choose. In other words, the faster you want your ETA, the more you'll have to pay for it.

  • Super Rush processing – This choice is great for people who need their ETA on the spot. Your travel document will be ready within just 30 minutes. However, the price is as high as USD 100.00.

How can I apply?

The online application form is divided into two simple steps:

  1. The first one will ask you to fill in your basic information like name, address, passport info, e-mail, and so on. Also, you must choose the type of ETA you need(it could be Business or Tourist ETA) and the processing time.

  2. In the second step of the application process, you'll have to make the payment and the revision of your information. All the information you provide must be 100% accurate because it is impossible to make any corrections after your application is sent. This means that you'd need to repeat the process if you make mistakes. The best thing you can do is to double-check everything before clicking the submit button.

Do I need a visa for my children as well?

If you travel with your children and they're older than 12 years old, then they need to apply for an ETA too. Children under 12 years old are exempt from applying for this visa.
