The citizens of Lebanon are among the many nationalities that are eligible for a Sri Lanka visa on arrival. However, one condition for obtaining the visa on arrival is that you apply for a Sri Lanka ETA before your departure. However, you can apply online for the authorization, and iVisa can help you.

Sri Lanka

What are the requirements?

The requirements you need to meet are not challenging, and chances are that you already have everything that is required of you. iVisa does not ask much. All you must provide are the following:

  • Valid passport – to get a Sri Lanka ETA, all applicants must hold a valid passport that remains valid for at least another 6 months from the date of arrival in Sri Lanka.

  • Digital photo – make sure that the picture is as recent as possible and follows all the guidelines for a passport photo.

  • Valid e-mail address – iVisa will send you the ETA via e-mail in PDF format, which is why you must provide an e-mail address to which you have access. Do not forget to print out a physical copy before you leave.

  • Means of payment – during the application process, you will be required to make the payment. iVisa accepts credit or debit cards, but you can use PayPal, Alipay, or WeChat as well.

Sri Lanka visa for the citizens of Lebanon – the application form

After you put together everything you need, the next step is to fill in the application form. That is not challenging either since the form designed by iVisa is short and straightforward. Moreover, you can contact iVisa’s customer support if you have difficulties. The service is available 24/7, and it is entirely free of charge.

iVisa’s application form has three easy steps. During the first step, you must insert your personal information and some details about your trip. You are also asked to select a processing time, a selection which establishes the cost of your Sri Lanka ETA. Your options are as follows:

  • Standard processing – this is the cheapest and slowest option iVisa puts at your disposal. Your application is processed within 1 business day, and it costs $55.

  • Rush processing – this time, your ETA arrives in just 3 hours, but you will be charged $85.

  • Super Rush processing – it only takes 30 minutes for your application to be processed. As you can imagine, the fee is higher. $105 to be more precise.

The fees above apply to the Sri Lanka Tourist ETA. If you wish to travel to Sri Lanka for business purposes, you need to apply for a Sri Lanka Business ETA. The processing time remains the same, but the fees are $70, $100, and $120 respectively.

The second step consists of payment and revision. As for the latter, you need to be very careful since a small mistake can invalidate the travel document. Check the form for typos and inaccuracies before you move on to the next step.

The third step is when iVisa requires you to upload some additional documents. You will be notified as to what those are, but they mainly consist of the photo mentioned above and a scan of your passport’s information page. After step three is complete, you can submit your application.

Needless to say, a Sri Lanka visa for the citizens of Lebanon is easy to obtain. iVisa does most of the heavy lifting. The document you receive is valid for 90 days since the issue date and you can use it for two entries. You can stay in Sri Lanka for up to 30 days per entry.
