CAN I ENTER SWITZERLAND DURING CORONAVIRUS?

As a UK citizen, you can enter Switzerland during coronavirus as long as you meet all the requirements. You will need to have the Switzerland Entry Form before landing in Switzerland.

DO I NEED A COVID VACCINE OR VACCINATION CERTIFICATE TO ENTER SWITZERLAND?

As a UK citizen you are eligible to enter Switzerland for any travel purpose if you are fully vaccinated and can show adequate proof. If you are a COVID-19 vaccine certificate holder, you won't need to present a negative PCR test nor to follow a quarantine. Travellers who are not fully vaccinated are only eligible to enter Switzerland from the UK if they have a residence permit, Swiss citizenship, or have a special case in order to acquire the Switzerland Entry Form.

In addition to the above entry requirements, all travellers flying to Switzerland must possess either proof of vaccination, proof of recovery in the last 6 months or a negative COVID-19 test prior to departure. Negative PCR tests (not older than 72 hours) or a rapid antigen test (not older than 48 hours) are accepted. Children under the age of 16 are exempt from testing.

WHICH COVID VACCINE IS APPROVED TO ENTER SWITZERLAND?

Approved vaccines are Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Sinopharm, Sinovac. You are considered vaccinated 2 weeks after both doses of a vaccine are applied. DO I HAVE TO QUARANTINE WHEN I GET TO SWITZERLAND?

Travellers arriving from the UK no longer have to quarantine on arrival in Switzerland. But you must meet the above requirements from iVisa.com for vaccinated or unvaccinated travelers.

You should report your arrival to the cantonal authority within two days of entry.
