What you need
Before filling in the form, make sure that you have everything you need. The requirements are not demanding to meet, and chances are you already have everything on the list. Here is what you need to provide:
Valid passport – all Indian applicants are required to have a valid passport that maintains its status for at least another 6 months from the date of arrival in Tajikistan. Failure to comply leads to a denied application.
A scan of your passport – you can scan your passport in the following formats: PDF, JPEG, GIF, BMP, or PNG.
Valid e-mail address – when you apply with iVisa, a copy of your visa will be sent to you as soon as your application is processed. iVisa will send it to you via e-mail, so make sure that you provide a correct e-mail address.
Means of payment – iVisa accepts multiple methods of payment such as credit/debit cards, a Paypal account, WeChat, or Alipay.
Tajikistan visa for Indian citizens – processing time and fees
The cost of your Tajikistan visa depends on two aspects: the visa type and the processing time. As for the latter, iVisa gives you three options:
Standard processing – your application is processed within just 1 business day, and the fee is $70.
Rush processing – you will get your electronic visa within 2 hours, and the cost is $100
Super Rush processing time – the processing lasts only 15 minutes, but you will be charged $120
As for the visa type, you can choose from the conventional electronic visa, or you can apply for the GBAO evisa. The second one grants you access to the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, and it costs an extra $20 for every processing time. You end up paying $90, $120, and $140 respectively.
How about the application form?
iVisa has created a very straightforward application form. It will not take you more than 15 minutes to go through it. There are three steps you need to complete. The first one asks you to provide some personal information and some details about your trip. You must also select a processing time and visa type at this point. The second step consists of revision and payment. Take a good look at your application and make sure that there are no errors. The last step may ask you to upload some additional documents, but that is not always the case. Once the three steps are complete, just submit your application and then wait for the Tajikistan visa to arrive in your e-mail inbox. Do not forget to print out at least one copy before your departure.
As you can see, getting a Tajikistan visa for Indian citizens is a piece of cake with iVisa. iVisa will handle most of the work, while you stay comfortable and wait for the document to arrive. The Tajikistan evisa is valid for 90 days, and you can spend up to 45 days inside the country. You are granted a single entry, and you do not have the possibility of extending your vacation. Overstaying implies fines, deportation, and possible banning for a specific period of time.
