Types of Tanzania visas for UAE residents

The UAE passport holders have to present a Tanzania visa to visit the country. But there is no reason to worry, as you can get a Tanzania online visa for this pleasant trip! The entire Tanzania application is electronic, so you fill out the essential information on the iVisa application page and receive the document via email. No appointment is required at the embassy.

United Arab Emirates citizens are eligible for this online visa. Still, they need to enter the United Republic of Tanzania through the Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA), Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (AAKIA), Namanga land border, or Tunduma land border to use the eVisa. An immigration officer will require a visa for entry, so it's strongly advised to have the document with you printed or on an easy-access device.

There are different options for visa application, and you must apply according to the travel purpose. You can get a Tanzania Tourist eVisa, a Volunteer eVisa, or a Transit Visa. Each has requirements and policies to follow, but they all permit a single entry. So if you need a multiple entry visa, you must apply for a consular visa at the embassy.

Tanzania Tourist Visa (e-Visa)

If the United Republic of Tanzania is the destination for your next vacation, you must apply for the Tanzania tourist e-Visa. This Tanzania visa is destined for visits, tourism, leisure, holidays, conferences, humanitarian and charity activities, family visits, or health treatment.

Once you meet the requirements to apply, you can fill out the simplified form with your information on the iVisa application page. The Tanzanian visa will arrive in your email inbox once the processing time is concluded. You can count on our visa services to take care of everything, so you have a successful application!

You'll fill out the form on iVisa application page, which will take only a few minutes. Then, we will take care of everything while you pack your bags and relax. You'll receive the document via email once it is ready.

We advise printing the visa and presenting it to the Tanzanian immigration officials at the Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA), Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), or Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (AAKIA).

Remember that the Volunteer visa is a Single Entry visa, and UAE travelers can stay for a maximum of 90 days Per Entry.

Tanzania Transit Visa

But if you are traveling to another destination and Tanzania is a stopover, you'll need a Transit visa to leave the airport, even for just a couple of hours. The good news is that the process is online, so you don't have to wait in line. Instead, you'll fill out a form and get the document with a few clicks.

The Tanzania visa requirements for this visa include providing a round-trip ticket, proof of sufficient funds for the stay, and a visa for another destination.

Keep in mind that the transit e-Visa permits a stay of a maximum of 7 days Per Entry.
