You can think that you will only be able to travel after the current medical situation our world is going through ends, but the Thai government, conscious of this, has released the Thailand Health Declaration (T.8 Form), which is an official document that you can get through an online application and whose purpose is to impulse tourism and decrease the spread of COVID-19.

I’m an Italian national, do I need a visa to visit Thailand?

According to recent announcements from the Thai government, Italians now need a visa to visit its country. For details of how you can obtain a visa, you can contact the Thai Embassy in Italy and get all the information related to this document.

Do not forget that the Thailand Government is now requesting from all travelers a new document called Health Declaration.

What is the Thailand T.8 Form)?

It is an official health declaration issued by the Thai government whose purpose is to prevent the spreading of COVID-19 as well as confirm if travelers meet all the conditions to enter Thailand safely. The Immigration Officers will verify this certificate by scanning the QR Code on your phone that you will receive from us.

If the Thailand Health Declaration cost zero, why do I need to pay?

The T.8 Form doesn't have a cost. However, you will need to pay a small amount for our service fee.

Do I need to show a COVID vaccination certificate to enter Thailand?

No. COVID vaccines or vaccination certificates are not required to enter the country.

Do I need a negative COVID-19 test result to enter Thailand?

There are no testing requirements.

How does the Thailand T.8 form work?

The T.8 Form works as a health statement that you will need to complete prior to your travel to Thailand. It is downloadable by scanning a QR Code that we will send you once your application is approved. The officers at the airport will scan the code on your phone and then decide if you are fit to enter the country.

How long will it take me to apply for the T.8 Form?

What are the steps do I need to follow to submit my online application?

Do Italians passport holders need a visa if we are only transiting through Thailand?

If you are transiting through Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Mueang International Airport for less than 12 hours, then you will not need a transit Visa. For further information, we recommend you to contact the Embassy of Thailand in Italy.
