How long is the Turkish Visa valid for?

COVID-19 Requirements

COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate

COVID-19 vaccination certificates are not mandatory for entering Turkey at this time, however, visitors must meet one of the following conditions:

• Proof of vaccination, vaccines approved by the WHO are accepted in Turkey. Visitors are considered vaccinated if all doses of a vaccine against SARS-Cov-2 have been administered for at least two weeks before traveling.
• Proof of recovery, within the last 6 months starting from the 28th day of the first PCR positive test result.

COVID-19 Tests

Arrivals who are not fully vaccinated will need to get a COVID-19 test before their trip. They can choose between:

• A PCR test taken within 72 hours before their trip OR, an antigen test taken within 48 hours before their trip. We recommend that you bring a hard copy of your negative PCR test result to present at the border.
• Children under 12 and travelers with proof of vaccination are exempt from testing.

Health Insurance and Quarantine

Carrying health insurance is not mandatory but recommended, especially to cover quarantine charges.

• There are no quarantine requirements upon arrival unless the passenger displays COVID-19 symptoms. In that case, the passenger will be quarantined at the airport for 2 hours while they wait for their test results. If the PCR test comes back positive, they will be taken to a hospital for treatment.
