What are the documents required to apply?

Note: If you are not vaccinated against Yellow fever, you will be subjected to immunization when you arrive in Uganda. Some quarantine measures will be taken as well. Also, children under 5 years old must be immunized against polio.
These are the general requirements, but if you apply for a transit visa or an East Africa visa, you need some additional documents, such as letter that states the reason for your visit transit, your itinerary and a return flight ticket for the latter.

The Uganda Tourist eVisa is validity of 90 days after arrival.
What are the processing times and prices?

How does the Uganda Tourist eVisa work?
In June 2016, The Republic of Uganda launched the eVisa system. This document is necessary before entering the country. All travelers intending to come to Uganda for holiday, tourism, business, study, family visits or medical purposes are required to apply for and obtain a visa online.
Travelers who use the eVisa program apply and pay a fee online and receive their electronic visa online before traveling to Uganda. Applicants will receive their visas via email, after filling out the application form with the necessary information, and once the online credit card payment is completed.
