US Tourist visa fee (B1/B2)

We are improving our B1/B2 application process to make sure it is up to date with current US visa policy. We will make this product available again soon. In the mean time, below you will find useful information to keep in mind for your US visa application.

Whenever you want to apply for a visa, one of the primary concerns is the amount of money you must pay in order to receive it. The same goes for the US Tourist visa. It is a common concern, and people often wonder what the total amount they need to pay when they apply for the document in question is.

iVisa has yet to launch the service for the US Tourist visa. We want to start by saying that we cannot facilitate the process of getting the visa itself. What we will be able to help you with is to obtain the application form confirmation page you need when you go to the nearest US embassy. Unfortunately, a US visa, either B1 or B2 cannot be obtained online. Not yet, anyway.

The two elements of a US Tourist visa fee (B1/B2)

What we should clarify is that the B1/B2 visa is known as a visitor visa. If you travel to the US for business purposes, you need the B1, and if you travel for tourism or medical purposes, you are seeking the B2. It is very rare for people to want a combination of the two, but it can be done.

How Much Does a Tourist Visa Cost?

A US Tourist Visa costs $160. The amount can be paid either during the application process or right before the interview and depends on nationality. What you need to remember is that when you attend your interview, one of the required documents is the application fee receipt. The process cannot move one without it.

Now, the US Tourist visa fee (B1/B2), when iVisa will launch the service, will consist of two elements. First of all, we have the fee that is payable for the visa itself.

The second element will be the service fee owed to iVisa. iVisa will provide the form for you and will be able to process it so that you can get the US Tourist visa confirmation page. Unlike the US Tourist visa fee (B1/B2), iVisa’s prices are not static. What does that mean? It means that iVisa practices multiple fees depending on how fast you want the processing to go.

To make things a bit clearer, iVisa, for any other visa it issues, provides three options when it comes to processing time. It will be the same for the US tourist visa application form confirmation page. You will get the Standard, Rush, and Super Rush, just like in all the other cases. Each option will come with its own fee. As you can imagine, the faster you want the processing to go, the more you will be charged but that is only natural.

Unfortunately, for the time being, we cannot tell you the exact fees for iVisa’s services. Since this particular service is not live yet, we cannot disclose anything else. But what we can assure you is that iVisa has always and always will practice reasonable prices. The US Tourist visa fee will be no different.

Additional fees

As far as iVisa is concerned, you do not have to worry about additional costs. What you will see displayed on your device as the overall cost will also appear on your bank statement. However, additional fees may apply to certain nationalities. We are talking about an issuance fee that some travelers must pay before their visa is issued. This action depends on the relations your country has with the United States.

What you need to remember from all this is that the US Tourist visa fee (B1/B2) is of $160 for the document itself, plus what iVisa will charge for its services. If an issuance fee is involved, you will be notified by the embassy.
