Visa Policy for Yemen

Yemen visa policy consists of a set of regulations and rules that govern immigration and travel documents. With this Yemen visa, you can plan a trip to Yemen, as you previously intended. Visas are available for foreign nationals to travel to China (for tourism, business, cultural activities, etc.). For travelers to Yemen, the most common visa type is visa-on-arrival (e-VOA), unless they come from a country exempt from visa requirements or can obtain a Yemen visa-free visa.

Fill me in

Twelve countries are eligible for visa-free entry into Yemen for 90 days within 180 days, depending on their nationality. There are nine countries that are eligible for visas on arrival. A Yemeni eVisa must precede entry into the country for the rest of the group. Keep on reading for more details about the Yemen visa policy.

Tourist Visa Policy for Yemen

A Yemen Tourist Visa is an entry ticket that is valid for an individual and a group of foreign nationals visiting Yemen, as well as their families and friends. If you are an Afghan or Bangladeshi citizen living in a country other than Yemen, you should contact the Yemeni Embassy/Consulate there for visa information.

Online visa application is available for residents of Colombia, Iraq, Yemen, Pakistan, and Somalia through approved travel agencies. Finally, Canadian, British and American citizens are only allowed to enter Yemen with approved visas obtained from approved travel agencies, and they need more permits than other citizens.

Yemen Tourist Visa

Yemen's visa regulations at present require citizens of over 80 countries to have an approved consular or embassy visa in order to travel there, regardless of the purpose or duration of their trip.

It is advisable for an applicant to schedule an appointment with the Yemeni diplomatic government office well in advance of their travel dates in order to ensure a timely and smooth visa application process.

To receive a Yemen visa, applicants must first submit a Yemen embassy visa application along with personal, passport, and travel details, as well as supporting documents, at a consular appointment as per the Yemen visa policy.

Depending on the type of visa required, supporting documentation will vary depending on the applicant's employment status, education, and work experience. In accordance with the Yemen visa policy, the validity and duration of Yemeni embassy visas also depend on the applicant's nationality and purpose of travel.

Applicants must also pay an embassy visa fee to consular officials before their applications can be processed. See the complete list of countries that require a visa for Yemen.
