Czechs travelling to Zambia will need more preparation than for safari. A visa is also required to cross enter the country and here is where iVisa can provide assistance. You can apply from the comfort of your home through online application instead of going to a diplomatic mission. A laptop or a smartphone with an internet connection is all you need. Although, only 95 nationalities currently qualify for an electronic visa, your chances are pretty high.
You can use a tool called the Visa Checker to verify your eligibility. It is located in the upper-right corner of iVisa’s website. Just select your nationality as Czechs from the drop-down menu and choose Zambia as your destination. The information will be shown quickly. Conveniently, you will be redirected to the application form if you are eligible. How easy is that?
The first thing you need to do is to make sure that you already have all the documents and information. iVisa needs these to process your application. Here is a list of what you need to submit:
A valid passport – make sure that your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of entry in Zambia.
Proof of accommodation – a hotel confirmation or a letter from a host will suffice.
Return flight ticket
A scan of the information page of your passport
A digital photo of you – the photo needs to meet the criteria of a passport photo.
E-mail address – iVisa will send you a copy of the issued document via e-mail in PDF format. You need to print it before you leave.
The next to do for Czechs is filling in an application. It is not difficult to do and it should only consume 10 minutes to finish. If you need any assistance with it, you can call iVisa’s 24/7 customer service.
The application is separated into three steps. The first one includes your general information such as name, address, e-mail, date or arrival in Zambia, passport info, and so on. Czechs must also choose the processing time and visa type. Visa type comes with options regarding the number of entries. As for processing time, you can avail three options:
Standard processing time – you will receive your evisa within 3 business days for only $20.
Rush processing time – by opting for this choice, your evisa will be ready within 2 business days, and it costs more than the previous choice. You will be charged $60.
The second step will be about payment and do a quick revision of the provided information. It is very important to review all the information because corrections are no longer allowed once your application is processed. This will result in applying for a new visa again.
Uploading additional documents will the last step that Czechs will do. These documents are determined by your personal situation. As an example, Czechs traveling with minors require more documents than people who go to Zambia alone. Nevertheless, you will be notified of what you need to upload.
Always remember that you will also be required to pay some fees upon arrival in Zambia. iVisa charges the processing of your application so that you get an approval letter. The visa per se will be given to you in Zambia and you need to make some payments at the immigration office there. Also, the approval letter is accepted only at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka, the Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport in Livingstone, and at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport in Ndola. Visas on arrival, on the other hand, are available all on airports.
